Annika Michelson kohtus Arche Noah esindajatega 3.12.2014 Vabaõhumuuseumis.

Arche Noah saatis täna teade kuidas edeneb seemneseadus. Esmaspäeval umbes kell 19.30 on jälle võimalus jälgida ühe kuulamise online 15.12. umbes kell 19.30: http://video.consilium.europa.eu/

Algne kiri inglise keeles:

It is still unknown how the new Commission will proceed with the "seeds". It's still unclear if they come back with the old file (amended) or if they present a new file.
There have been some media reports:
http://euobserver.com/economic/126875
http://www.europeanvoice.com/article/juncker-to-scrap-air-and-waste-proposals/
We will know on Tuesday 16th: Then, the Commission will present their working programme.

ARCHE NOAH have been trying to push for a NEW proposal, of course.

COUNCIL:
On Monday 15th, the seed regulation will be discussed in the Council. The discussion is “public” and you can watch it on Monday around 19.30 pm at http://video.consilium.europa.eu/ Please find attached the background note and the indicative agenda. As you can read in the note attached, the Council asks for the old proposal in an amended version. I guess this timing is an attempt of the Council to still impact the Commission's working programme, by trying to push for an "amended proposal"...

PARLIAMENT:
In the parliament, there is no clear majority either for an amended proposal, nor a new proposal. Only ALDE said that they want to work on the old version. EPP did not position openly. The S&D, Greens and Left demanded a new proposal. The ECR and EFD did not position.

COMMISSION:
-DG SANCO's civil servants have been pushing for an amended proposal -The Commissioner's positions are unknown
